Nestled in the in the rolling hills of Gladstone, New Jersey, our restaurant presents our clientele an exciting menu in the warm and inviting atmosphere of our 160-year-old landmark building. Originally built as a farmhouse in 1847, the Tavern has been serving hospitality to local residents and travelers for well over 100 years. Chef/Owner Tom Carlin recently completed a yearlong renovation of this local icon, restoring the classic Colonial exterior to it's original glory, while redesigning the interior floor plan and finishes to make it suitable for today's discerning diner.

Intelligently designed, yet family friendly, the Gladstone Tavern will become a favorite for friends and family, business meetings and special occasions. For a truly unique private dining event, our upstairs dining room can accommodate up to 48 guests. If you are looking for outdoor dining, join us on our spacious terrace, and as the sun goes down you'll remain comfortable under the stars with our outdoor fireplace.  For cocktails, meet old friends and new at our bar and lounge.

The Tavern offers both original and traditional American fare. Dinner is served seven days a week from 5 pm. Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from 11:30 to 2:30. Our Tavern menu is available all day Monday through Saturday from 11:30 am until closing and Sundays from 5pm.
