Looking Spiffy!

The iconic Gladstone Tavern horse, dubbed “Sir Pennysworth”, received much needed attention this past month. The work was done lovingly by local farmer and taxidermist Alan Sampson. The horse was originally brought from a local saddle shop and by the Karner family, owners of The Brass Penny in the late 70s, hence the name. Sir Pennysworth has resided on this front porch for nearly 50 years.
